Pearl Oyster, pluerotus ostreatus, is known to be a tenacious grower! Great for expansion projects, and remediation projects. An ideal mushroom for beginners.
It tolerates higher temperatures than most Oyster's making it a great summer oyster. It still benefits from high humidity, and prefers temperatures between 45-75. Can handle colder climates, but doesn't like to freeze.
